Terms of service

These are the terms for using TablePop, run by Sven Bosau, trading as Bosau Digital L.L.C. By publishing a page you agree to them. They are deliberately short. Where a sentence could be written in plain English, it is.

1. What the service is

TablePop takes a table you select in Excel and publishes it as a public web page at an address on tablepop.app, or on a domain you own if you are on Pro. You can update it, restyle it, embed it elsewhere, and delete it. That is the whole product.

You keep every right in your own data. We claim no ownership of the tables you publish. We store and serve them because that is the service you asked for, and we stop the moment you delete them.

2. Your account

An account is one email address. You sign in with a code sent to it, so whoever can read that inbox can reach your account · keep it secure. One person, one account. Tell us at sven@pythonandvba.com if you think someone else has got in.

3. What you may not publish

You may not use TablePop to publish or distribute:

• Anything illegal where you are, or where we are.
• Phishing pages, fake login prompts, fake invoices, or anything built to deceive someone into handing over money or credentials.
• Malware, or links intended to deliver it.
• Content impersonating another person, company or public body, or pretending to be an official record it is not.
• Material that infringes someone else's copyright or trademark.
• Harassment of a specific person, or content that exists to threaten or degrade someone.
• Personal data about other people that you do not have the right to publish. A customer list, a staff directory with home addresses, a spreadsheet of exam results, a table of medical or financial details · if you would need someone's permission to put it on a public website, you need it here.

You also may not try to break the service itself: no probing for vulnerabilities on production, no working around plan limits or rate limits, no automated bulk publishing, and no reselling TablePop as if it were your own product.

4. Plan limits and fair use

"Unlimited" means 250 pages. We would rather tell you the number than hide it: Pro accounts have a hard ceiling of 250 published pages. It exists to stop bulk publishing, not to ration normal use, and if you are a real customer doing real work you will not meet it. If you genuinely need more, email us and we will talk about it rather than cut you off.

Prices are shown at checkout. We are not going to print them here, where they would go stale.

5. Pages we disable

We can disable any page that breaks section 3, and we will, without waiting for a court to tell us to. A disabled page stops being served within about a minute and returns a short notice or a not-found page instead. We will email the account holder to say what happened and why.

Anyone can report a page at abuse@pythonandvba.com, and there is a form of words to use on the report page. We aim to respond to abuse reports within 24 hours. Every published free page carries a report link in its badge, deliberately.

This is not a system for settling disagreements about facts. If a page is merely something you dislike or disagree with, that is not abuse. If a page harms you, say how, and we will look properly.

Repeatedly publishing content that breaks section 3 will cost you the account, not just the page.

6. Paying for Pro

Pro is a subscription, billed monthly or yearly, and it is handled by Pabbly. You pay them; your card details never reach us. After purchase you get a license key by email, which you paste once into the add-in or the dashboard.

Cancelling is yours to do at any time from your account at account.pythonandvba.com, which is also where your invoices live. You do not have to ask us, and we will not make you sit through a retention flow. Cancelling stops the next charge; you keep Pro until the period you already paid for runs out.

What happens if a subscription lapses

• Your pages keep serving. Nothing is deleted and no link breaks. We do not take a customer's work hostage.
• The "Made with TablePop" badge comes back on pages that had it removed.
• If you are holding more pages than the free plan allows, you can still view and delete them, but editing is locked until you are back under the cap. Publishing new pages is locked too.
• A custom domain that is already live keeps working. You cannot connect a new one.
• Automatic updates stop; manual updates keep working within the free limits.

Refunds

If TablePop is not what you expected, email us within 14 days of paying and we will refund you. No form, no reason required.

7. Availability, and what we do not promise

We work hard to keep pages fast and up. We do not promise an uptime percentage, and there is no service level agreement. TablePop is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind.

Practically, that means: do not use a TablePop page as the only copy of anything. Your workbook is the source of truth; the page is a view of it. Keep your Excel file.

If we get something wrong and it costs you money, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it happened · which, for a free account, is nothing. We are not liable for lost profits, lost data or knock-on business losses. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, including for death, personal injury, or our own fraud.

8. Ending it

You can stop at any time by deleting your pages and asking us to close your account.

We can suspend or close an account that breaks section 3, that is being used to attack the service, or where we are legally required to. Except in clear abuse cases, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix it. If we ever shut TablePop down entirely, we will give account holders reasonable notice and time to export their work.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top will change, and for anything that materially affects you we will email account holders in advance. If you do not accept a change, stop using the service and ask us to close your account · for a paid plan, we will refund the unused part of the period.

10. Law and contact

These terms are governed by the law of the jurisdiction in which Bosau Digital L.L.C. is established, and disputes go to the courts there. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in.
