How it works
From workbook to web page in three steps
No code, no hosting and no file uploads. It all happens in a pane next to your data.
1
Select a table in Excel
Click inside an Excel table or select a range. The first row becomes the column headers, and numbers and dates keep the formatting you see in Excel.
2
Pick a look
Choose a table or cards layout, a theme, a font and an accent colour, and decide which tools your readers get. The preview shows the page before anyone else sees it.
3
Publish, then share
Press Publish and the page is live. Copy the link, or copy the embed code into your website. Update it from Excel whenever the data changes.
Features
Everything a shared table needs
Your readers get a fast, readable table on any device. You keep working in Excel.
Search, sort and filter
A proper data grid for your readers: instant search, multi-column sort, a filter for every column, pagination and a totals row.
Excel and CSV export
Readers download exactly what they filtered as an Excel file or a CSV, or copy it to the clipboard.
Embeds that fit any site
Script and iframe embeds that grow with the table. Use a card or a plain frame, light or dark, to match the page around it.
Stays in sync with Excel
Update a page from the add-in in one click, and see when a page is out of sync with its workbook. On Starter and Pro, pages update themselves while the TablePop task pane is open.
Themes, fonts and your logo
Eight themes, six font stacks and your own accent colour, plus a logo above the table and a footer line with a link.
Your own addressStarter
Choose the address of each page, or serve it from a domain you own, like table.yoursite.com. The certificate is handled for you.
Views at a glance
See how often each page and each embed is opened. Counted without cookies and without tracking your readers.
Version history
Your dashboard keeps the last 10 versions of every page, so you can bring back an earlier version of the data.
Embed
Paste it into any website
Every page comes with a link and two embed codes, ready to copy from the add-in or your dashboard. They work in WordPress, Webflow, Squarespace, Notion and anywhere else that accepts HTML.
Auto-height. The embed resizes to fit the table, so readers never scroll inside a box.
Card or plain frame. Drop the border and shadow and let the table sit flush on your page.
Light and dark. Follow the reader's system setting, or hold the table in one scheme.
Always current. Update in Excel and every embed shows the new data within about a minute.
* Views are never blocked. Fair use is set out in the Terms. Prices in US dollars. Cancel any time and your pages keep working. Refunds within 14 days of paying, no questions asked. Paid plans are sold by Python & VBA, the company behind TablePop, so that is the name on your receipt.
FAQ
Questions, answered
Which versions of Excel does TablePop work with?
TablePop runs in Excel on Windows, Mac and the web, with Microsoft 365 or Excel 2021 and later. Your readers only need a web browser, on any device.
Do my readers need an account?
No. A published page is an ordinary web page: anyone with the link can open it without signing in or installing anything. New pages are unlisted, so search engines skip them and only people with the link find them. You can make a page public, or on Pro protect it with a password.
What happens to my embeds when I update the table?
Nothing changes on your site. The link and the embed code stay the same, and the new data appears on the page and in every embed within about a minute.
What data leaves my workbook?
Only the table you publish. The add-in does not read the rest of your workbook, and published pages set no tracking cookies and load no third-party analytics. The details are in the privacy policy.
Can I remove the TablePop badge?
Yes, on Starter and Pro. Pages on the Free plan show a small "Made with TablePop" badge; paid pages show none.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes, on Pro, for up to three pages. Add one DNS record for a subdomain such as table.yoursite.com and TablePop issues the certificate for you. On Starter and Pro you can also choose each page's address on tablepop.app.
What if my pages get a lot of views?
Nothing is ever blocked. Free includes 10,000 views a month under fair use; if you go past that we let you know, once a month, and your pages stay online. Starter and Pro have no monthly view level, only the fair use in the Terms.
What happens if I cancel?
Your pages keep working and nothing is deleted. After the period you paid for and a 14-day grace, the Free limits apply: your most recently updated pages stay live, the rest are paused (never deleted), and the badge comes back. The Terms spell out the details.
